Congrats to the Lafayette Juniors for another successful Kitchen Tour! I was so happy to see the weather cooperate on Saturday.
The Lafayette Kitchen Tour is a community event near and dear to my heart. I remember the year that we created it and am so pleased to see it continue as the Juniors’ signature fundraising event.
Through the years, I’ve been a part of many facets of the Lafayette Kitchen Tour, from organizing and volunteering to supporting it as an advertiser.
Two years ago, when my kitchen and gardens were on the tour, I had a first hand look at what it takes for the families who offer up their homes to help the Juniors’ raise funds for local charities like this year’s beneficiary, Shelter Inc. A special thank you to the six families who did that this year!
More than anything, I know it takes a lot of work to make the kitchen feel seamless to the rest of us. Thanks to all who made the 13th Annual Lafayette Juniors Kitchen Tour a success this year.
