Like with the rest of Bay Area cities, the warmest time here is late summer (September) with an average high-temperature of 82.9°F. The driest time here is mid-summer (July). The coldest month here is January, with an average low-temperature of 34°F.

There are at least 30 great hiking trails, trail running trails, and mountain biking trails around Orinda. From Tilden and Briones Regional Parks to the Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve and the Siesta Valley Recreation Area, if you like outdoor adventure you’re in the right place!
