Our democracy is only as strong as our active participation in the election process. Please take the time to carefully consider the local ballot initiatives and cast your vote.
- Measures A, an Acalanes Union High School District no increase parcel tax renewal is on the May special by-mail election. (Lafayette voters will also be voting on Measure B.) There are no polling place locations on Election Day – May 6.
- Today, May 1, is the last day to mail your ballot in order to be sure it will be received by May 6. Postmark dates do not count. Please remember to sign and place a stamp on the return envelope.
- If you are unable to mail your ballot, Tuesday, May 6, is the last day to turn in your ballot for Measure A. Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
- Ballots may be returned to any of the Ballot Return Centers on May 6 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Please note, the Moraga Ballot Return Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Measure A ballot should have arrived the week of April 7. If you have not received your ballot or it is lost or damaged, please call the Contra Costa County Elections Office at (925) 335-7871 to request a new one.
