I am so grateful to live and work in a community I adore and in which I’ve spent my entire life. In Lamorinda, and throughout the entire Bay Area, we have much to be thankful for – open space, recreational opportunities, cultural activities, beautiful neighborhoods, and friendly neighbors. And while it’s easy to take all of this for granted, I often think about the well-known phrase, ‘To whom much is given, much is expected.’
Taking this to heart, my team and I are proud to be involved with a number of amazing non-profits that serve our local and greater community. Our newest partnership is with Make-A-Wish, where I am honored to serve as Chair of the East Bay Regional Advisory Council, and where several individuals on our team serve on the council. I’ve known many families who have benefited from this wonderful organization, and it is a privilege to join the team and help further the organization’s goals.
A wish experience can be a game changer for a child with a critical illness. The experience can also positively impact all involved – from the wish child and family to volunteers, sponsors, medical professionals, and communities. A wish fulfilled serves to make the world a kinder place. If you would like to join me in this endeavor, we are looking to grow the East Bay Advisory Council and I’d love to hear from you!
In addition to our work with Make-A-Wish, we continue our ongoing support of these amazing local and regional groups, and we invite you to join us in championing these worthy causes:
