Every week I receive at least one – but often more – calls from clients looking for information about our local preschools. Always, I send them to the Lamorinda Moms Club – to the Lamorinda Moms website and to speak to other mothers of young children. This organization is both a resource and a wonderful introduction to families in our community.
If you are currently looking to learn more about pre-school options in Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda, I have good news. The 16th annual Lamorinda Moms Preschool Fair is this month.
Each year, upwards of 40 local preschools send representatives to the Preschool Fair to help answer all your questions. Even if you still measure your child’s age in months, it’s a good idea to at least stop by and pick up literature so you can begin to better understand our local preschool landscape. While you’re there, you’ll also have a chance to meet some of the current members of Lamorinda Moms who can tell you more about the club, including the many member events they hold during the year.
The 2013 Lamorinda Moms Preschool Fair will be held on Thursday, November 14, from 6:30-8:30pm, at the Oakwood Athletic Club (4000 Mt. Diablo Blvd, Lafayette).
This FREE preschool event is open to the general public as well as members of the Lamorinda Moms Club.
