Food Truck Thursdays at Campolindo High School – A Tasty Way To Build Community

We love the newest Campolindo junior class fundraiser – weekly food trucks!

Food Truck Thursdays at Camolindo High

You’ll find the trucks parked near the tennis courts in the school’s back parking lot from 3:35 – 6:30 p.m. every Thursday through the end of October.

Today’s trucks? United Bites (wraps), Canasta (tacos), and IzzyA (frozen custard).

Don’t think this is just an opportunity not to cook!

Explains parent organizer Diana Obrand:  “We really believe in this fundraising effort not because we are making a lot of money but because it’s been so fun to watch the community come out and socialize at Campolindo. As Principal John Walker stated, ‘Anytime we can get the community on campus for something positive like this, it’s a great thing!’”

Campolindo Football Program 2015 (Back)We couldn’t agree with Diana and Principal Walker more!

That’s one of the many reasons the Dana Green Team proudly sponsors Campolindo Football. (Of course, another big reason we sponsor  the Cougars is the Dana Green Team is comprised of Campo graduates and Proud Campo Parents — and I am both!)

Family Fun Tip: Plan a “Football and Food Truck Family Fun” Night

Grab your favorite food truck fare and enjoy it while watching a Campolindo freshman game! These freshman games are free and fun for the whole family! The freshman Cougars play at home at 5pm on the following October Thursdays:  October 1 (Dougherty Valley), 10/15 (Las Lomas), and 10/22 (Terra Nova).

Campolindo announces each week’s food trucks in the school’s Daily Bulletin. If you don’t already get it delivered via email you’ll find the newest copy linked on the school’s website.

On October 1, the following food trucks have been confirmed:  Tonli Dumpling, Sliders Truck, Street Dogs, and Tutto Bene.

Enjoy!
