This is the time of year for one of our community’s most festive events, LPIE’s Power Party fundraiser. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus and a Public Health Services directive, as well as UC Berkeley’s cancellation of on-campus events, this major fundraising event, which was to be held at Cal’s Pauley Ballroom, has been canceled.
But you can still participate in helping to raise the funds necessary to keep our fantastic education foundation going strong. The Power Party online auction goes on! The auction is up and running, and anyone can bid on the amazing array of items including weekend getaways, sports memorabilia, rare wines, theater performance tickets, and so much more. For nearly four decades, LPIE’s mission has been consistent: to support and enrich the education of every child in the Lafayette public schools by providing supplemental resources for engaging curriculums that spark young imaginations and ignite dreams. And it is through the support of the community that they achieve this mission.
